AN OUT VENTURE

Hey All,

It’s finally Friday! I’m sure the motive for most is to get in the house and snuggle up to a cup of warm tea. The weather lately has been so cold it’s unbelievable. That said, I am glad to be back out blogging. It’s time consuming but so fun and honestly although I feel like I’m years late I’m just glad to be doing it now. This week we were supposed to head to Kensington to take the OOTD photos because of the beautiful white buildings and lovely scenery dotted all around the area but plans were changed last minute because of time.

This week I tried my hand at vlogging to try and document a couple of days ‘In The Life of Me’ so hopefully if all goes well and the footage works it’ll be up sometime on Sunday.

We ended up taking the photos in King’s Road after my shopping trip fail and the houses along the side roads there are just as pretty.

If you’ve been following me for a while you would have noticed that I take most of my photos in the same location. This was just for ease because you can imagine the hassle travelling with a baby; but over the few weeks of me re-inventing the blog and the channel, I thought I’m going to have to do everything I can to make the pictures and the overall TPR brand look as professional as possible or it will only ever be for my family and friends!

Although I’m hugely grateful for all the support they all give that isn’t what I’m aiming for!

I aspire to go all out – which is why I called today’s blog an out-venture, because I’m literally stepping out of my comfort zone in so many different ways and so far it really has been an adventure.

Today I went for a colour palette of greys and blues, as navy is already one of my favourite colours and I’m really loving grey right now.

I bought a pair of grey suede and perspex heels this week which I’ll probably feature next week but I went for my old ASOS courts instead as I love how they matched the tones of the blanket scarf.

The striped shirt I’m wearing is so lovely.

That said, the inside make is really poor. It almost looks like it was made in a college project BUT it is on the inside which no-one can see and it only cost me £9. You can’t really go wrong can you?

The texture, length and stripes were on point for me though and I really love the colour.

I really hope you guys like the new look of the blog and the channel and thank you for all your support so far. It is truly invaluable.

I can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store!

Joanne RH
