BLACK X BLUE

SO, I’ve called this first blog post BLUE X BLACK because after having a closer look at my wardrobe I’ve realised I’m simply obsessed with navy and black. [and white]Now these shoes I absolutely adore. They’re old Zara, I believe from 2014 but I remember everyone went crazy for them and before I could get my hands on a pair they completely sold out :(A few months ago I was planning an outfit for a wedding and naturally, I bought a navy blue and lace type number and thought to myself – ‘This would be perfect with those Zara shoes’.

So, doing what I do best, I traipsed online searching for them on the likes of depop, shpock and eBay – and eventually these babies were mine!

I love them because they’re elegant and they can pretty much go with anything.

I also love the fact that they are a cage heel that don’t expose all ten toes – in that sense they’re very modest!

I would describe my style as minimal but I do like to pay attention to little details such as the curved hem on this top from ASOS. I think it adds a bit of glam and femininity.

I’ve also teamed up my outfit with a medium sized rucksack from Pull & Bear which features a cute zip detail. I bought this from ASOS too.

My jeans are from WHISTLES, which I picked up in a sample sale whilst I was working there but you could find a navy pair similar in any high street store. Or if you fancy a treat the link for them is here

Simple but detailed

I hope you’ve enjoyed

Joanne
