For all my ASOS lovers out there. Not only can you already buy almost every known and eligible brand in one place, but now you can buy all your cosmetics and toiletries too. How incredible is that?

I was lucky enough to be invited by my sister, who is on level 3 status on ASOS points, to the face + body launch and I have to say I was really impressed.

Based at a warehouse type building in Charing Cross, the set up was made to play and excite the senses. From the touchable faces to the hanging extensions it was every bit creative.

Once you'd made your way through the 'play zone' with the hundreds of golden balls to cross, you were then led into a room with literally dozens of product to play with.

They had hundreds of products on display and I was amazed to see some of the products that are going to be launching. It's like every girl's dream.

I don't know about you guys but I love the convenience of being able to buy everything in one place. Team that up with next day delivery and you have a winner... not to mention a customer for life.

The set up of the product was impeccable with a wall that was colour coded, from white to black, to green, orange, and pinks.

I wasn't sure where to start but as you can imagine I was looking for one type of product and one type only...

You guys already know I’m on my clean cosmetics, with no intention of going back might I add, so I was keen to see if the products available would cater for me.

There are a few brands, to say the least, and I can’t be mad at that because how many creams or products do you really need at one time ey?

I’ve got my eyes on a few gems from the ordinary, as well as a couple of brands that are 100% natural and clean beauty advocates such as "Sister & Co" and "Nude by Nature".

When I look at ASOS as a company, I almost look at it like a proud ex. You know when you split from someone and you're not mad at them, feelings are still there so you look at their pages every once in a while glad that they're doing well. Well ASOS are bang on the button again for FACE + BODY because really the event was about the launch of ASOS own brand makeup. The launch of their very own beauty brand which is an amazing feat and taking ASOS to yet another level ahead of their counterparts.

"Yes, Topshop has been there and done that for years

but the reality is it's not good enough just

to jump on a bandwagon. If you're going to do something

it's best to do it properly,"

Not only have ASOS introduced their own makeup range but you're also able to buy the majority of high street brands alongside them which just makes life so much easier for everyone.

They even have a dedicated space for Korean beauty which is gaining major headway in the realm of hair and beauty as well.

One thing I can't fail to mention is that this couldn't have come at a better time. When the world of makeup seems to be gaining more popularity than fashion and clothes it makes a hell of a lot of sense from a business perspective to capitalize on it.

This is probably the ex-contextual studies student talking but I feel one reason why people are going crazy over makeup and beauty, is simply because social media has made it that way. It's not just a case of being heard but being seen and for some people, the best way to do that is to ensure your brows and your highlighter is slayed. It's about standing out from the crowd when it seems everyone is shouting.

Not only that but unlike fashion, makeup is inexpensive and so easily accessible. I might not have £100 to spend on a revamp for my wardrobe but my £20 can buy me a few makeup bits that can make me a thousand different looks to take photos with for the gram.

I somehow feel this makeup hype has brought about a wave of opportunity for people that found it difficult to find a voice in the world of fashion. Like I said, it's so easily accessible, and once you figure out how to use what brush, and what a contour actually is, it's easy to begin making your mark. At the end of the day your face is you and nobody can rock it like you no matter what.

I think of amazing make up artists like 'Nikki Tutorials' who used makeup and youtube as a means to escape her insecurities and develop her creative flair. Now she's one of the best and her following is beyond incredible.

For someone like me who has not a clue either way, I'm excited to learn different techniques and make them my own.

That said I don't want beauty to take over my whole life. It's all well and good being able to create who you want to be in the realm of social media but there's alot to be said about the man in the mirror.

When all is said and done, when the camera's aren't rolling and your phone is down, you still need to be content with the real you.

"Be sure to spend as much on the you

people do see vs the you that nobody sees"
